I haven't been here in a while. I guess I mostly started this to share with my kids but as they're still not talking to me I felt a bit discouraged. I did send cards out last week to them. And I will keep doing so. Maybe someday they'll realize that I never forgot them or stopped loving them.
I'm going on a trip week after next and I'm a bit nervous about it. I haven't been on a plane since 1985. There have been very many changes in especially the airports since then. I think that's the part I'm worried about most right now. I have my list made and ready to be checked off. My tickets have been bought and paid for. My ground transportation is set up. And I've lined up a pet sitter for the pets that are staying here. I think I have a handle on it all. Now is just waiting time.
